Lavender Meadows

Not only does Lavender herbal tea excel at being a soothing caffeine free drink, but it has throughout the ages been used as a primary ingredient in a consortium of natural medical remedies. Ancient medical practitioners used lavender to treat migraines, ease digestive spasms, respiratory problems, nervous systems, insect bites, bruises and sprains. Another phenomenal characteristic of lavender is the distinctive floral and yet slightly pungent aroma.

Quick Tip: To make a nice vinegar-based cleansing lotion to sweeten up bathwater or use as a hair rinse after shampooing, soak a 1/2 cup of lavender in a litre of cider vinegar and allow to brew for 1 week.

Ingredients: Lavender petals.
